Specimen No.260: you_li_co — wearing PUMA tracktop

Some garments outlive their era. Some girls arrive too late for it. The collision is the point.

This PUMA line — once worn thin by middle and high school girls of a generation ago, its pink trim faded to something softer than original — does not pretend to be new. It carries its years plainly. The stitching knows what decade made it.

Against that, you_li_co arrives entirely of the present. A performer shaped by the aesthetics of Reiwa — the idol form, the music, the particular way of existing in front of a camera that this era demands. She does not belong to the jacket’s time. The jacket does not belong to hers.

And yet.

The high collar closes. The zipper reaches its terminal point. In that sealed state, the distance between eras compresses into a single frame. Past fabric, present body. The hummel jacket draped on the torso nearby adds a third layer — a witness without a wearer, waiting for its own specimen.

What was loved then and what is constructed now share the same zip. That is enough.
